Veteran actress and politician Kirron Kher made a rare public appearance at the premiere of ‘Tanvi The Great’, directed by her husband Anupam Kher.
The event, held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, turned emotional for many attendees, not just because of the film, but because of Kirron’s presence itself.

Accompanied by her son Sikander Kher, Kirron walked the red carpet, pausing to greet photographers and exchange a few light-hearted words with the media.

The mother-son duo held hands as they made their way into the venue.

Kirron, known for her vivacious spirit, chose a bright red traditional outfit with detailed embroidery for the evening, while Anupam Kher stuck to a classic black tuxedo. The couple posed together for photos.
But many fans watching closely couldn’t help but notice signs of her ongoing health battle, slightly frail movements and a visible sense of fatigue.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “Kirron has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer. She is currently undergoing treatment and we are sure she will come out of this stronger than before.”
Since then, Kirron has largely stayed away from the spotlight, focusing on recovery and limiting her public engagements.
The premiere of ‘Tanvi The Great’ itself was a star-studded affair. The film marks Anupam Kher’s return to directing after nearly two decades. It features Shubhangi Dutt in a lead role opposite Kher.
Several well-known faces from the film industry turned up in support. They were Mahesh Bhatt, Gulshan Grover, Soni Razdan, Krushna Abhishek, Karan Tacker, and Chunky Panday.
