When it comes to Bollywood fashion, one name that instantly comes to our mind is Karan Johar. The filmmaker has brought some of the biggest brands to India with his films.
Recently Karan Johar appeared on Neha Dhupia’s talk show No Filter with Neha where he talked about his children Roohi and Yash’s posh version of ABCD and about the biggest fashion event of the year.
Karan Johar talked about the biggest fashion event of the year– MET Gala. He said if he gets to host the MET Gala, he would go completely Indian with it. Talking about the theme he said, “The idea is to platform out beautiful garments, our culture and our beautiful embroidery and fabric… that would be my theme – The Royal rich Indian.”
If you thought the conversation stopped there then think again as he further mentioned his three fashionistas for the MET Gala. First was Amitabh Bachchan, as Karan thinks he can grace the red carpet with panache, style, and grace. Next would be Sonam Kapoor as she sets the fashion ball rolling in the country. Lastly, with no surprises, it would be Ranveer Singh as he is known for his bold fashion statements.
Karan said Ranveer Singh walks the fine line between androgynous and hyper-masculine and can carry off both the looks with the same amount of ease and panache.
Coming to his two adorable kids—Yash and Roohi, the filmmaker revealed that he has a couture version of ABC. His version is all about fashion brands which he is going to teach his kids in future.
