Bollywood diva Sonali Bendre, who was recently diagnosed with a high-grade cancer, has been receiving much love and wishes from the Tinsel Town. Now, another cancer survivor who fought the dreaded disease and became an inspiration to many has sent her love to Bendre.
Former model and actor Lisa Ray, who is herself a cancer survivor, took to her social media handles to send her love to Bendre and express her concern for the Sarfarosh actor.
Ray wrote: “Dear @iamsonalibendre you are in my thoughts. Words often fall short and I’ve learned that okay, but I do want to send love”

The entire industry was shocked to learn about Bendre’s health condition and immediately after learning about her health the social media world was flooded with wishes and concern for Bendre.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is on a vacation with his family in New York, visited Bendre as soon he got to know about the news. Bendre has been in New York with her family for treatment.
Another B-Town celeb, who is also a cancer survivor, posted a special message after learning about Bendre’s condition. Manisha Koirala wrote: “Love you babe..and trust me you will shine more once its all done..more power to you sister!! we all are waiting for you here eagerly..healthy and strong!! http://t.co/p8ldQGaGy1”

Like Ray, Koirala too fought a long battle with cancer. In 2012, Koirala was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and after finally getting rid of cancer Koirala became more active in spreading awareness about the disease.
Earlier this year, Bollywood and its fans got another shock when they about Irrfan who was diagnosed with a rare Neuroendocrine tumor (another form of cancer). He is undergoing treatment in London.
