Nostalgia hit Instagram again! Filmmaker Boney Kapoor dug deep into his personal photo album and pulled out a memory featuring his late wife Sridevi and their daughter Janhvi Kapoor, when she was just one year old.
The throwback picture, shared on Boney’s official Instagram, instantly transported fans to a family trip in Los Angeles. In the frame, Sridevi is seen smiling warmly while holding baby Janhvi in her arms, while Boney stands behind them.

Boney kept the caption just as emotional as the picture. “In L A. My love holding our love janu, who was just 1 year old (sic),” he wrote.
And this isn’t a one-time nostalgia trip. Boney has made a habit of sharing such memories with his Instagram family, often revisiting moments featuring Sridevi and their children.
Earlier this month, Boney shared another vintage photograph, this time from 1997, featuring Sridevi holding an even younger Janhvi, who appeared to be around four months old. In that picture, Sridevi wore a bright red outfit paired with a black jacket, tightly cradling baby Janhvi, while Boney stood beside them.
The caption read, “Happy memories In Rino city in the state of Neveda USA 1997 July. (sic)”
For those who may not know, Janhvi, now a prominent name in the entertainment industry, was born on March 6, 1997, to Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. The couple also welcomed their younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor, who has followed in her sister’s footsteps into acting.
Boney and Sridevi’s love story dates back to 1996, when they tied the knot. Before that, Boney had been married to Mona Kapoor, with whom he shares two children: actor Arjun Kapoor and entrepreneur Anshula Kapoor. After several years of marriage, Boney eventually moved on and married Sridevi.
The memories now carry even deeper emotion. Sridevi passed away in 2018 at the age of 54 in Dubai following an accidental drowning.
