On Monday night, a chain collision involving escort car of Akshay Kumar made headlines after a chain collison. The actor himself wasn’t inside the car, but the accident still grabbed everyone’s attention.
According to Mumbai Police, the accident happened around 8:30 pm near Mukteshwar Road. A speeding Mercedes allegedly hit an auto-rickshaw from behind. The rickshaw flipped over and collided with the car from Akshay’s security entourage.

Two people were injured in the mishap, including the auto-rickshaw driver, whose condition is being described as serious.

Locals didn’t waste a second. Videos surfaced online showing bystanders helping the injured man out of the wreckage while assisting the authorities and fire brigade.
The auto-rickshaw was completely destroyed in the crash.
The rickshaw driver’s brother, Mohammed Sameer, spoke to ANI, saying, “My brother’s rickshaw was completely destroyed. His condition is serious. Our only request is that he gets proper medical treatment, the required medicines, and compensation for the damaged rickshaw.”
Juhu police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the Mercedes car driver. Investigations are underway to understand the full sequence of events.
So far, authorities have confirmed that neither Akshay nor his family were in the vehicle at the time, only his security team.
The security vehicle was part of the entourage escorting Twinkle Khanna, Akshay’s wife, back home from the airport after an overseas trip.
Stars like Akshay, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan often have personal security because of their high public profiles and occasional threats.
Akshay’s security detail has been visible recently, including when he stepped out to vote in last week’s BMC elections.
Neither Akshay nor Twinkle has publicly commented on the accident.
