Read about how Akshay Kumar stole the show with his energetic performance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding celebration, leaving everyone in awe.
In a recent revelation, director Anees Bazmee has put an end to speculations surrounding Akshay Kumar’s involvement in the much-anticipated Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The filmmaker confirmed that the renowned actor will not be joining the cast alongside Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan. Addressing the topic, Bazmee expressed his eagerness to collaborate with Akshay Kumar in the future but clarified that the script for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 didn’t align for them this time around.
During the conversation, Bazmee also shed light on the inclusion of Vidya Balan in the project. Reflecting on their past work together in the film Thank You, where Vidya readily accepted a brief role, Bazmee praised her for her swift and gracious response. This positive experience played a pivotal role in Bazmee’s decision to cast Vidya in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, for which he expressed his heartfelt appreciation.
As for the production updates, Bazmee disclosed that the filming for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is slated to commence on March 10, although adjustments in the schedule might occur along the way.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa, a cult classic in Indian cinema, originally released in 2007, is a blend of psychological intrigue, comedy, and horror. Directed by Priyadarshan and produced by T-Series, the film is an official remake of the Malayalam movie Manichitrathazhu (1993). The star-studded cast of the original included Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi, Asrani, and Vikram Gokhale.
While the absence of Akshay Kumar in the upcoming installment may disappoint some fans, the anticipation surrounding Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 remains high, especially with talents like Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan on board. With Bazmee at the helm, audiences can expect another thrilling and entertaining cinematic experience.
