There was laughter, there was confusion, and then there was a sweet emotional moment, all thanks to Akshay Kumar turning nostalgic on the quiz reality show ‘Wheel of Fortune’. It began as casual chat suddenly became heartwarming memory about his late mother.

The superstar looked completely relaxed while interacting with contestants. But the mood shifted when one contestant, Vidhi, casually mentioned that she is Sindhi. That one line unlocked flood of memories for Akshay. Without missing beat, he said, “Mujhe Sindhi bahut hi pyaari bhasha lagti hai.”

But then, in true Akshay Kumar style, he flipped the mood with hilarious twist.

A phone call that turned into panic

Akshay recalled a funny incident from those days. He said he once called his Sindhi friend at home. When his friend’s mother answered the phone, he asked if his friend was around. She replied, “Soya pada hai, uthaun uss ko.”

However, Akshay hilariously admitted that he misheard it as “mara pada hai.” For a second, he thought something terrible had happened. The actor dramatically reenacted his shocked reaction. That sent the entire audience into loud laughter.

The conversation took another sweet turn when Vidhi asked if she could say something in Sindhi. She said, “Mokhe taam se jaam pyaar aa,” and quickly explained that it means “I love you.”
