Bollywood director Aditya Dhar is floating on cloud nine after cricket superstar Virat Kohli and actress-producer Anushka Sharma praised his latest film, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’.

Virat Kohli, who has been a fan favourite since his Under-19 World Cup days, described ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ as an unmatched cinematic journey. The ace cricketer said he “didn’t flinch once” during the nearly four-hour-long movie. He also singled out Ranveer Singh, calling his performance “beyond brilliant.”

Aditya Dhar responded with excitement. He wrote, “Wooowww! Can’t believe this is happening Virat, this genuinely means so much. Been a fan since your Under-19 WC days.”

Anushka Sharma, who has produced and starred in several hits, also shared her admiration for the film. She praised the nearly four-hour-long narrative and the ensemble performances, particularly Ranveer Singh’s lead role.

Dhar couldn’t hide his joy, calling her words “truly overwhelming.” He added, “Thank you so much, Anushka. It only pushes us to aim higher, to tell stories with honesty, heart, and purpose… to create something that truly moves people.”
