Meanwhile, Parambrata Chatterjee, who made a lasting impression in films like ‘Kahaani’ and ‘Bulbbul’, is also a part of the cast. This will also be the first time Priyanshu will be sharing screen space with Sumeet Vyas.

Alongside this web series, Priyanshu has a busy lineup of projects. His upcoming film ‘Pirates’ will see him in the role of an ethical hacker. To play the part convincingly, the actor went beyond the usual preparation. He enrolled in coding classes and studied the language of the dark web so that he could perform the scenes authentically on screen.

Talking about this effort, Priyanshu said he always prefers to go deep into his roles. “I believe in doing my homework. Whether it’s a body transformation, learning a new dialect, or understanding the mindset of my character, I try to give my all,” he shared.

He further explained that the world of hackers is both technical and psychological. To him, it was important to capture not just the skills but also the sense of isolation that many hackers experience. “I want people to believe in the character and feel his intentions,” he added.

The shoot for ‘Pirates’ begins next week in Delhi. The film will dive into themes of cyber warfare and ethical hacking.

Priyanshu also has two more projects lined up. ‘Paan Parda Zarda’, announced in 2023, is set against the gritty backdrop of opium smuggling in central India. The series promises to explore a dark and lesser-known world.

Another big-ticket project is ‘Tere Ishq Main’, in which he stars alongside Kriti Sanon and Dhanush. The film reunites the successful ‘Raanjhanaa’ team with director Aanand L. Rai, actor Dhanush, and music maestro AR Rahman.
