A shocking health update from Bollywood actress and former beauty queen Sushmita Sen made her fans tense when the actress shared with her followers on Instagram on Thursday that she had a heart attack a few days ago and needed an angioplasty as well.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “Keep your heart happy & courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most Shona” (Wise words by my father @sensubir ) I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’. Lots of people to thank for their timely aid & constructive action…will do so in another post!. This post is just to keep you (my well wishers & loved ones) informed of the good news …that all is well & I am ready for some life again!!! I love you guys beyond!!!”
Sushmita is widely regarded as one of the fittest actresses. On social media, she continues to post workout videos and pictures.

Red-heart emoticons and get-well-soon messages flooded the comment section shortly after she announced the news on social media.
Sushmita is set to appear in a new web series titled “Taali” as transgender activist Gauri Sawant.
Along with Sushmita, who is getting ready for “Aarya 3,” Sikander Kher has also kept the audience interested with his excellent performance.
With Sushmita Sen running the show and Sikandar playing a pivotal lead in the front, for which he received several awards earlier this year, the first two seasons of the show received excellent reviews from both critics and viewers.
