Marvel’s conclusion of the phase three has come to a stupendous end at the box office in India as the film has crossed the Rs 150-crore mark.

Yes, you read it right. Avengers: Infinity War has crossed the Rs 150-crore mark in India in a record breaking time for any Hollywood film. The film has achieved the milestone in just one week of its worldwide release.

As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Avengers: Infinity War has set new benchmarks for any Hollywood films in India by collecting Rs 156.64-crore in the first week.

Strong word of mouth and Avenger‘s Indian fan base have surely helped the film to bring in audiences in the cinema houses in a historic first week for a film from the west.

Trade pundits and industry business trackers expect the film’s business to grow in the second weekend.

Apparently, Avengers 3 has already crossed the Rs 200-crore mark in India in terms of Gross box office collections. The film is yet to achieve the Rs 200-crore mark in Net collections.

Despite new releases and major competition at the box office it’s quite safe to say that Hollywood has come triumphant against the likes of Bollywood films like Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Raid and Hichki.

Avengers 3 is currently the third highest grossing film of 2018 in India only behind Padmaavat and Baaghi 2, and if the film successfully crosses the Rs 200-crore mark in India then  Avengers will solidify its place as the highest grossing Hollywood film India.

The film has surely raised the bar for other Hollywood films like Deadpool 2, Antman and the Wasp and Aquaman, which are lined up to release in the coming months.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Infinity War starring Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Chadwick Boseman, Dave Bautista, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany.
