Aparshakti broke down during the performance of ten-year-old Zaid Ali for the Dusshera special episode. Composer and judge Shekhar Ravjiani had to step in to comfort him.

Talking about it, Aparshakti said: “Every time Zaid sings I connect even more because he has a certain kind of innocence in his voice.”

The show also features actress Sonakshi Sinha and singer Kanika Kapoor as judges, while yoga guru Baba Ramdev is the Maha Guru.
