Selfiee’ performs unexpectedly poorly at box office
Both Akshay and Emraan, who are in the lead roles in the movie, together could not be able to do well at the box office.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi will soon be seen in Selfiee. Along with these prominent Bollywood actors, Diana Penty and Nushratt Bharuccha will also play significant roles. This is an official remake of the 2019 Malayalam movie “Driving License,” starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Suraj Venjaramoodu. The lead actor Akshay, who is currently filming the song, shared a photo in which he hinted at his outfit for the song.
In the picture, Akshay can be seen posing on top of a car while sporting an unusual faux fur jacket, black jeans, and quirky shoes. He is showcasing his lean body. As assured as ever, Akshay Kumar appears at ease while perched on the vehicle, filming a song. “My mantra for today – Garmi, humidity aur faux fur… Sab chalega, bas kaam kar, kaam kar. Shooting a mast new song for #Selfiee. See you in cinemas on February 24.”
Akshay Kumar and the team this year announced “Selfiee” in January with a humorous video that featured Akshay dancing at the bus stop while wearing a suit. In the clip, Emraan Hashmi was also shown. Sharing the video, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Presenting Selfiee, a journey that will drive you towards loads of entertainment, laughter & emotions. Shooting begins soon!” He also included Emraan Hashmi, Karan Johar, and Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in his tags. Under his production company, Prithviraj Productions, Prithviraj is co-producing the movie as well.
