Demand for total ban on liquor during General Elections

Arihant Rishi requested the Chief Election Commissioner of India for total liquor prohibition during the Lok Sabha elections in the country, which is going to be held from April 11 to May 19, 2019, in 7 phases, and in the assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha and Sikkim.

Urjaa Guru Arihant Rishi has said that there should be a complete ban on selling and consumption of alcohol during the General Elections.

He said it at an event named “Total Ban on Liquor during the Elections” organized by the Urjaa Foundation on Thursday, March 28, 2019, at Café Bhadaas.

Arihant Rishi believes that consumption of alcohol also influences a person’s mentality as well as his/her personality.
