Many affected by diarrhoea in Arambagh
A state of panic persists among the villagers of Pandu gram in Madhupur in Arambagh, as from the past few days several people have come down with diarrhoea.
The apathy of hospital authorities has come to light yet again, this time at the Megan Government Hospital in Karnataka’s Shimoga area where a woman dragged her ailing husband to the X-ray room.
The woman identified as Fahmida dragged her husband Amir Saab by his legs to the X-ray room after the hospital staff didn’t help her in the shifting.
The hospital authorities have ordered an inquiry into the incident.

This is not the first time that patients are being deprived of facilities at the government hospitals.
On May 21, a man was forced to carry the body of his wife on a stretcher after the hospital authorities refused to give an ambulance service to him.
Earlier in November, a woman was forced to drag her ailing husband on the ramp of a government hospital in Guntakal city in Anantapur district after hospital staff allegedly expressed their inability to provide her a stretcher.
