RPF nabs mobile thief

As part of its ongoing initiative ‘Operation Yatri Suraksha’ aimed at enhancing passenger safety, the Asansol Division of Eastern Railway achieved a notable success at Jasidih station on 4 August. At approximately 8.15 p.m, during routine evening surveillance, the train operation and passenger benefit team from the RPF Post at Jasidih observed suspicious behaviour involving an individual on the station premises.

Upon being detained and questioned, the individual was found in possession of two mobile phones suspected to be stolen. The recovered items included a silver Narzo Android phone and a sky blue Oppo Android phone, both believed to belong to other passengers.

Following standard procedures, the RPF team handed over the suspect along with the recovered mobile phones to the Government Railway Police Station at Jasidih for further legal action and investigation.
