Slamming AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal for his comments over the recent threat emails to schools, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva assured that any threat to the educational institutions is taken very seriously by the Delhi Police.
He further said the police not only conducted an immediate security inspection but also carried out swift cyber investigations to identify those behind the threat mails.

In the latest incident, the police investigation revealed that a student, who wanted holidays, sent threat emails to other schools and institutions.
Sachdeva called it unfortunate that former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal tried to exploit this sensitive issue for petty political gain. Through his statements, he tried to instill fear among students and parents in the national capital.
This is not the first time the AAP is resorting to such negative politics over a serious matter relating to safety and security of children, he said, adding, “In January, Kejriwal’s party tried to politicize the issue of threat emails to schools.
Eventually, it was revealed that the person responsible back then was also a student whose father had links with an NGO run by the parents of the then CM, claimed Sachdeva.
He emphasized that it would be appropriate for Arvind Kejriwal to apologize for trying to mislead the people of Delhi.
Sachdeva claimed that people of Delhi expect Kejriwal and his party to refrain from making such political statements in the future, whether the threat is to a school or an airline company.
