Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva slammed former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal for posting a clip from Delhi CM Rekha Gupta’s TV interview to create political controversy.

In a statement, Sachdeva clarified that former Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal had shared a clip suggesting that CM Rekha Gupta said the BJP was repeating Congress’ actions over 60–70 years. “After reviewing the full interview from which the edited clip was taken, it is clear that Gupta actually remarked that it is surprising how, when Congress and others were winning for 60–70 years, everything was fine, but now that the BJP is winning, the opposition alleges rigging,” he stated.

Sachdeva stated that Kejriwal’s concern stems from the fact that Gupta’s government’s seven months of development work has outperformed his ten-year tenure, prompting him to repeatedly stir political controversies to tarnish the CM’s image.
