In view of the preparations for the NEET UG re-examination, Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood on Saturday conducted inspections at exam centres and reviewed arrangements ahead of the test.
A day ahead of the NEET examination, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta extended her best wishes to students and their families, saying that the Delhi government has ensured that no family faces unnecessary difficulties related to transportation, heat or long waiting hours on the day of the exam.
The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR (CAQM) flying squads conducted 199 inspections across the National Capital Region (NCR) between May 30 and June 13 to identify and control sources of air pollution.
According to the Social Welfare Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh, the move will only help one of the most marginalized sections of society live with dignity but will ensure equal opportunities for them.
Addressing NCC officers and cadets, Sood urged the youth to actively participate in nation-building and reflected on the historical and cultural significance of Vande Mataram.
Announcing this, CM stated that in the first phase, such canteens will be opened at 100 locations across the city, adding that places for these canteens have been identified.
Inaugurating the tablet, Vijender Gupta, Assembly Speaker said, "Vande Mataram is a timeless anthem that binds every Indian to the spirit of our motherland."
"The project will help to remove the traffic bottleneck on the left side of the road at the start of Parade Road underpass, where traffic movement is currently restricted towards Gurugram from Delhi," the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said on Friday.
