Madhya Pradesh: Bus overturns at Morena, at least 30 injured
The incident took place near Sikroda canal in the Civil Lines police station area of Morena district, police said.
In an incident that has brought shame to Madhya Pradesh’s Alirajpur, a couple that got married without the consent of their parents, was stripped, beaten up and forced to drink urine.
The accused even filmed the entire episode. The 23-year-old man was tied to a pole and assaulted. Two accused have been arrested so far and more people are believed to be involved in the attack.
The couple had reportedly tied the knot in May against the wishes of the girl’s parents. The accused reportedly told the girl that they were punished for hurting the family’s pride.

Shockingly, the man had already paid Rs. 70,000 in cash and two goats to the girl’s family after marriage to settle the matter.
The couple had gone to Gujarat and they returned only last week. After coming to know about their return, some people kidnapped them both at gunpoint on July 25. It is suspected that the attack was carried out by the girl’s family.
After getting released, the couple filed a complaint with the police. They told police that they were beaten up mercilessly and the girl was partially stripped and her hair chopped off.
