A court in Baghpat district has sentenced the head of a local mosque to 10 years of imprisonment for abducting and raping a 15-year-old girl in 2016.

The girl was abducted and raped by the man in a village in Baghpat district on January 19, 2016. The accused belongs to Muzaffarnagar district, he said.
