In a first in the state of Himachal Pradesh, the capital city of Shimla has become home to a Microbrewery, The Brew Estate.

Addressing media persons here on Friday, Brew Estate, Shimla Director Arun Singla said, “After spreading our wings in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Sangrur, and Patiala, we are now here in the Queen of Hills opening a sixth microbrewery, to provide a unique experience for gourmet and beer lovers alike.”

The move to start a microbrewery in Shimla is to cater to the tourist influx at this globally renowned tourist destination, Shimla, so as to provide suitable space and ambience with unparalleled hospitality, besides world class beer, exquisite cuisine, he added.

The microbrewery strives to offers cherishing experiences for the tourist right in the heart of the city, close to the historic Ridge, with a fine mixture of modern flair with a rustic medieval appeal, he added.

“Adding to the chain of microbreweries in the north, soon we intend to open a microbrewery in Ludhiana, probably by next month”, he added.

“The spectrum of the beer starts with Red Ale consisting of roasted German Malt blended with other ingredients providing a Dark tint to the heavy body beer with a rich malt note. Premium Lager, a full-bodied malty beer with a light caramel flavor and crisp bitterness represents the true German spirit,” he said.
