The development comes hours after Dushyant Chautala met BJP national president JP Nadda in New Delhi.
Haryana government will conduct fresh survey of below poverty line (BPL) card holders implementing the number system.
Stating this on Sunday, Minister of State for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Karan Dev Kamboj said that those with lowest numbers would be included in the BPL category.
He said that ration cards were being linked with Aadhaar and about 95 per cent of the work has been completed and the remaining five per cent would soon be linked.The minister feared that maybe it could be that these five per cent ration cards were fake or they did not exist, or they could be ration cards of migrant families.

After digitisation of ration cards, ration would be distributed through online system. The commission of depot holders has been increased and the government has been considering engaging them for various other works to further increase their income, he added.
