The rescue operation began after Punjab Police constable Diksha, who was on duty at a nearby checkpoint, noticed the woman being swept away by the current and immediately raised an alarm.
Police have recovered the handwritten note and seized it as evidence. Investigators say the allegations against the woman's husband and sister-in-law are being verified, and further legal action will depend on the findings.
