Describing the Bhakra Nangal Dam and canal as life line of people, Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister OP Dhankar on Sunday said that the state government would try best to rename the dam after Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram.
He was addressing the gathering at a function to commemorate 137th Birth Anniversary of Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram organised by Jat Sabha at Chandigarh. Dhankar said, “Three states of Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh are partners in this ambitious dam project.”
