Former SPO among 3 civilians kidnapped by terrorists

A former Special Police Officer (SPO) was among three civilians on Friday evening abducted by armed terrorists from a village of Shopian in South Kashmir.

Police said that gunmen abducted two civilians and a former SPO from Reban village of Zainpora in Shopian district.

The abducted persons have been identified as former SPO Basharat Ahmad Wagay, Zahid Ahmad Wagay, and Reyaz Ahmad Wagay all residents of Reban village of Zainpora.

Terrorists had last week kidnapped 8 persons and brutally killed two of them.
