The FIFA World Cup football fever has reached even political parties in Madhya Pradesh with the Opposition Congress posting a video on social media on Friday in which Congress leaders are seen scoring penalties against the BJP.

In the video, faces of Congress leaders have been morphed on the faces of players of Argentina, which has already been knocked out of the ongoing event in Russia.

Other Congress leaders, including MPCC chief Kamal Nath, Leader of opposition in state assembly Ajay Singh, and other Congress leaders are seen scoring penalties against BJP goalkeepers.

The video also shows footballs on which various burning issues like unemployment, crimes against women, rapes, Vyapam scam, gang rape, farmers’ issues and other allegations of the Congress against the BJP have been shown.

Kamal Nath also attacked the BJP state government on Friday over the unabated incidents of heinous crimes against women and girls in the state. Nath tweeted that the number of horrific crimes against minor girls had increased in the state.

He claimed that in the past 10 days the state has witnessed eight such terrible incidents and the state government has failed utterly in providing safety and security to women and girls in the state.
