The BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership has undergone a significant transformation, reminiscent of the era when Indira Gandhi wielded unparalleled influence within the Congress party.
Himachal Pradesh chief minister-designate Jai Ram Thakur announced a digital X-Ray machine for the Deen Dayal Upadhaya (DDU) hospital on Monday.
He said this during his visit to the hospital to distribute fruits to the children and patients at DDU hospital, Shimla on occasion of the birthday of former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
CM visited the children ward and also met other patients admitted in different wards of the hospital and enquired about their well being.

The CM paid a courtesy visit to Raj Bhawan and held a discussion with Governor Acharaya Devvrat. He later took stock of the arrangements of Prime Ministers visit for the oath-taking ceremony on December 27, at the Historic ridge.
Later, CM also met the blood donors in the blood donation camp organised by Umang Foundation at Ridge.
