Every officer should consider resolving the problems of the people as their primary duty, the CM asserted.

Highlighting that serving the people of the national capital with honesty, transparency, and teamwork is the government’s style of working, she expressed the hope that the officers, upon receiving the training, will be able to serve people better.

Addressing the officers, Gupta said the revenue department is that part of the government which is directly connected to the public, so employees there should have a very good understanding of how to serve it and at the same time have a good grip on their work.

It is said that the government is also planning to hold training for other officers, including its senior officers, so as to step up the overall efficiency in the way work is delivered.

The CM said that government officials must keep themselves updated time-to-time with the evolving techniques as per the scenarios in terms of technology and the style of work.

Keeping updated with the latest technology and tools enables one to work more efficiently, ultimately making things better in terms of addressing peoples’ issues, she added.
