Critical Minerals Summit in Delhi from Monday
The Ministry of Mines will hold a Critical Minerals Summit from April 29 to April 30 at the India Habitat Centre in Lodhi Estate, New Delhi, the ministry said in a press note on Sunday.
A woman belonging to Delhi’s Naraina area was allegedly sexually assaulted by a person who was later apprehended, the police said on Monday.
According to police, a case was registered at Naraina Police Station on the complaint of a woman over alleged sexual assault on January 28 , and the investigation was taken up in the matter.
Medical examination of the survivor was done and a statement also recorded on January 31 in the case.

It was on February 2, based on the survivor’s statement, and the information from the hospital, another FIR was registered as the date of incident was different in the previous FIR in this matter.
The accused is presently in judicial custody, police said, while further investigation was underway in this case, the police added.
In another incident of sexual assault in Malviya Nagar last week, an 18-year-old woman was allegedly drugged and gang raped by two men, who were her friends made through a social media application.
They initially called her to meet at the Madangir traffic signal and later forcibly took her to Malviya Nagar where they ate together. The girl was offered food laced with sedatives, after which the two men, who were from Meerut, sexually assaulted her.
Both were later nabbed by the police, while legal proceedings were underway in the case.
