CII-Young Indians (Yi) I DELHI celebrated its Annual Day on 18th December at Hotel Claridges. Baton was passed on from current Chair Mr. Priyankar Baid to co-chair Mr. Alok Gupta. The event was attended by CII-YI National Chair Mr. Raunak Goyal, as well as CII Delhi State Chair, Mr. Madhav Singhania, Deputy Managing Director & CEO at JK Cements. Chief Guest, Mr. Nikunj Garg, Managing Editor of Times News Network, spoke about “Gearing up for Globalisation 2.0”, essentially how India is going to immensely benefit from delinking of China Dependent Supply Chains. 

Mr. Alok Gupta has been active in CII-Yi for the last 5 years and is the Director -Graphisads, a big name in the Media & Advertising world. He comes with a 17+ year of Management Experience and is committed to lead CII-Yi Delhi to newer heights!

Young Indian (Yi) is a movement that encourages young Indians to unite, take the lead, co-create, and have an impact on India’s future. Yi, an intergral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), was founded in 2002 to provide young Indians with a platform on which to work toward achieving their vision of developed nation.
 
CII- YI Delhi was one of the founder Chapters and today boasts of 150+ Members from all walks of life. Membership consists of first /second /third generation entrepreneurs and professionals drawn from manufacturing, professional services, IT, distribution among others.
 

This year, Yi Delhi has extensive plans to engage with all its stakeholders. India is hosting G-20, and Yi is an important cog in the wheel to host the Young Entrepreneurs Alliance. Delhi Chapter shall try it’s best to engage with Govt, Rural Communities, Entrepreneurs and provide holistic learning & growth opportunities to its members. We shall also be focusing to work with more Colleges & Universities based out of Delhi and train their Students to be Business Ready.
