Fire breaks out at furniture manufacturing factory in Delhi
The tragedy occurs only two days after a fire in the Uphaar Cinema Hall in south Delhi. There were no injuries or fatalities reported in the occurrence.
According to Delhi Fire Services (DFS) Director Atul Garg, ”a call was received at 1332/33 hours regarding a fire in a train coach at the Patel Nagar railway station and five fire tenders were rushed to the site”.
He said the fire was brought under control at 1425 hrs.
“Only three coaches of the Sirsa Express train were in standing position at the Patel Nagar railway station. Out of them, the fire was in only one coach and the same was detached after extinguishing the fire,” added Garg.

No injury was reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
