An unknown person allegedly fired upon a taxi driver in Prem Nagar area near Safdarjung Bus terminal, the police said on Sunday.

According to police, the call about the incident was received on the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday at around 2.26 am.
The taxi driver is a native of Himachal Pradesh and is said to be stable.
