Delhi school extends help to Bihar flood victims

In an effort to help and support victims of the recent floods in Bihar, the students of Springdales School here at Dhaula Kuan have responded to the tragedy by donating generously in kind.

Showing solidarity to the flood victims, children of the school voluntarily extended their support by contributing clothes, linens, utensils and toys to be sent to the people in flood-hit areas. A truck load of sacks and cartons of goods was flagged off on September 16  and sent to Goonj, an NGO.

The overwhelming response through the donations in kinds by parents was the result of the efforts of the Interact Club of the school. The club has been working for the cause of humanity all-year round.
