Delhi Police carried out coordinated raids at 25 locations in Dwarka and the outskirts of the national capital, targeting wanted gangsters and their associates, an official said on Monday.
The operation focused on suspected hideouts and strongholds of criminal networks spread across Delhi and the NCR.

“The raids were aimed not only at active gang members but also at those who had previously assisted them with logistics or financial support,” said Ankit Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka).
“This drive was against all wanted criminals—shooters, associates, and financiers connected to gangster syndicates,” he added.
Police seized eight sophisticated pistols, several country-made firearms, and around 30 live rounds.
“At least six suspects were arrested, while more than 26 others were detained for questioning,” Officer Singh said.
During the operation, police also found a bulletproof vehicle, an Audi car, and large amounts of cash.
“Investigators recovered nearly Rs 35 lakh in cash, foreign currency, and gold ornaments worth over Rs 50 lakh,” the officer added.
“Such recoveries highlight the deep nexus of crime and money laundering that fuels gangster operations,” Singh said, confirming that the Income Tax Department has been alerted to trace the origins of the seized assets.
Police sources indicated that six to seven of the targeted locations were in NCR towns, while the rest were within Delhi. The raids were carried out simultaneously to prevent any tip-offs or escapes.
