Delhi Metro to run extra train trips to encourage use of public transport
This capacity expansion aims to ensure uninterrupted service and efficient passenger management during increased passenger journeys.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Friday said the metro train services will start at 2.30 pm from terminal stations on 25th March on account of Holi.

“On the day of the Holi festival i.e. 25th March (Monday), metro services will not be available till 2.30 pm on all lines of the Delhi metro including Rapid metro and Airport Express Line,” said DMRC spokesperson Anuj Dayal.

He added, “Metro train services will thus start at 2.30 pm from terminal stations on all Lines on 25th March and will continue normally thereafter.”
Meanwhile, the DMRC announced the same in a post on X through its official account.
