DUSU elections: Last date of filing of nomination extended till Sep 14
The University of Delhi has extended the last date for filing nominations for the students’ union elections by two days.…
Zakir Husain Delhi College, University of Delhi, was held on Sunday at the college premises. Dr Mohammad Aslam Parvaiz, Vice Chancellor of Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, was the Chief Guest.
He recalled his long association with the college, first as a student and later as the Principal. He urged students to remember the three important 'E's of life ~ environment, economics and ethics. The convocation was declared open and close by Dr R Prabhakar Rao, principal of the college.
Altogether 658 degrees were awarded to students who successfully completed their Masters of Arts, Masters of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts (Honours and Programme), Bachelor of Science (Honours and Programme), and Bachelor of Commerce (Honours and Programme) in 2015. The convocation began with the presentation of the college tarana by the college choir.
