Cold wave intensifies in Delhi as western disturbance brings rain
Cold weather conditions intensified in the national capital on Tuesday as a western disturbance affected North India, bringing light rain to parts of Delhi since morning.

Cold weather conditions prevailed across Uttar Pradesh on Monday with Fursatganj recording the lowest temperature at 2.9 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
Dense to very dense fog occurred at few places over eastern Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places over the western parts of the state.

The night temperature was below normal in the Faizabad, Lucknow, Moradabad, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Bareilly and Agra divisions.

The weather office has forecast shallow to moderate fog in certain parts of the state during the next two days and cold to severe cold conditions at isolated places.
