Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik rounded off his campaign for the Bijepur assembly bypoll be promising people that if the BJD candidate Ms Rita Sahu is elected, he will personally take care of the constituency and things will change for the better in one year time.

The BJP too stepped by its campaign with Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Ramkripal Yadav addressing public meetings promising development of the region and criticising the BJD for failing to do so in 18 long years of power.

The Congress which has been starved of resources and riddled with infighting resorted to street side meetings and door to door campaign. Hardly 60 hours left for the by election to Bijepur constituency, all the political parties and the major three ones-BJD, BJP and Congress are putting their best efforts in appeasing voters.
