As per the directions of the Supreme Court, the Juvenile Courts, which are also known as Child Courts, are being started in every district in order to expedite cases relating to the young kids and children.

A Child Friendly Court was inaugurated in the premises of the District Court here yesterday, by the District Judge Biswajit Das in the presence of senior officials . Speaking on the inaugural ceremony, the District Judge said that the Special Court will take care of the cases relating to juveniles, which will pave the way for clearing off juvenile cases that have been pending in various courts.
As per the directions of the Supreme Court, the Juvenile Courts, which are also known as Child Courts, are being started in every district in order to expedite cases relating to the young kids and children. Of the cases which will be dealt with, special attention will be laid on expediting cases of harassment , torture etc of children .
Cases can be heard with the help of video conferencing technology.
