Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav, calling the BJP government’s move to teach the 100-year history of the RSS in the schools of the national capital backward on Friday, asked what kind of RSS history would be taught in schools. He alleged that the organisation had opposed the nation’s freedom movement led by the Congress to push its own “narrow political agenda”.
He further alleged that the motive of the organisation was to implement a singular agenda in a multi-cultural and diverse nation.

Yadav said if the RSS ideology had been implemented in the country, there would not have been great institutions like IITs (Indian Institute of Technology), IIMs (Indian Institute of Management) among others.
Lashing out at the Rekh Gupta-led BJP government in Delhi, he said if it teaches RSS history, the future of the children would be affected and chances are they too would become narrow-minded.
Yadav claimed the RSS was just trying to regain its credibility.
