Even after a reduction in GST, the Uttar Pradesh government has collected surplus revenue of Rs 608.06 crore in the month of November 2025 in comparison to November 2024.
UP Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna, informed here on Friday that a total revenue of Rs 18997.86 crore was received in November of the financial year 2025-26 from the main tax and non-tax revenue items of the state, while Rs 18389.80 crore was received in November of the financial year 2024-25.

Thus, compared to last year, Rs. 608.06 crore more revenue has been received in November of the current financial year.

He informed that a receipt of Rs 141449.47 crore has been recorded under tax revenue items till November. This is 74 percent of the target set for the current financial year till November.
Khanna said that there is great enthusiasm among the public due to the reduction in GST rates. The reduction in GST has increased demand. It is estimated that even better results will be achieved in the coming time.
The Finance Minister informed that a total revenue of Rs 7472.59 crore was received under GST in November 2025, while the receipt in November 2024 was Rs 7793.48 crore.
Under VAT, a revenue of Rs 2830.85 crore was received in November 2025, while the receipt in November 2024 was Rs 2685.19 crore.
Under Excise, a total revenue of Rs 4486.50 crore was received in November 2025, while the revenue in November 2024 was Rs 4071.27 crore. Around 83.1 percent of the target revenue for November was achieved under the Excise head.
Under Stamps and Registration, the revenue received in November 2025 was Rs 2585.62 crore, while the revenue in November 2024 was Rs 2263.77 crore.
Under Transport, the revenue received in November 2025 was Rs 1208.46 crore, while the revenue in November 2024 was Rs 1205.28 crore. Under the major non-tax revenue head of Geology and Mining, the revenue received in November 2025 was Rs 413.84 crore, while the revenue in November 2024 was Rs 370.81 crore.
Khanna stated that a total revenue of Rs. 141449.47 crore has been received under major tax revenue heads up to November of the current financial year. This is 74 percent of the target of Rs. 191019.32 crore set for November 2025. He further stated that under State Taxes, a revenue of Rs. 74411.10 crore has been received against the target of Rs. 115866.92 crore up to November, which is 64.2 percent of the target for this period.
