The minister further alleged that the Congress also denied 4% reservation to the people living along the International Border in this region.
The Centre has directed government owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) to coordinate with Jammu and Kashmir government to set up oil depots and LPG bottling plants in various parts of the valley.
OMCs will take the list of possible locations in the Valley for commissioning of New LPG distributorships and petrol pumps and Kashmir and examine its feasibility on priority, said a senior officer of the Petroleum Ministry.
Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan met Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti in Srinagar on Saturday and discussed in detail how to expedite the projects in the pipeline.

The Centre has told all public sector oil companies to recruit employees from reputed engineering colleges of Jammu and Kashmir. The OMCs have also been asked to invest at least Rs 1 crore from their corporate social responsibility fund for infrastructure development in Tulip Garden, Srinagar.
