Over the past two years, the department has undertaken significant policy reforms. New policies for MSMEs and start-ups have been implemented, and more than 116 workshops have been conducted to enhance awareness and training.

Land allotment and other processes have been made faceless, online, and time-bound. Under financial assistance schemes, 4,065 units have received support amounting to ₹2,780.44 crore, and 220 assistance cases have been resolved by the state-level empowered committee.

The review meeting was informed that substantial progress has been made in the development of industrial areas. A total of 1,240 plots have been allotted to entrepreneurs, construction of 13 industrial areas has been completed, and approval has been granted for 14 new industrial areas.
