The panel emphasised that overcoming the challenges of the energy transition in the country requires robust Public‑Private Partnership (PPP) models, with a strong balance of investment being a critical component.
A notable example cited was Odisha’s distribution system, presented as a classic example of effective energy management under the Discom framework.
