Regarding the Supreme Court ruling today, Abhishek Banerjee, Trinamul Congress national general secretary said today at Nandigram: “We will resume our fight in the Supreme Court on the next date of hearing in February. My question is why the ED raided the I-PAC office in West Bengal only. The agency has offices in Hyderabad, Tamil Nadu and in Chennai, you did not raid there. I-PAC has three more directors, their homes were not raided.
We too have some facts about the raids. If we expose the people who are telling lies in the SC and high court, by filing contempt of court against them, they will be in a soup. I ask the media to read the panchnama by the ED. The ED is now asking for adjournment in the HC for the same case they had filed a case. Why is it so, the ED can only say. People will decide who is right, who is not in the coming days.”
