"How can they be in such a state that their MLAs are frightened to get out of their houses fearing getting attacked with eggs?" Samik Bhattacharya questioned.

The incident has triggered off panic in the district town with the Fire services and Burdwan Police Station officials rushing to the spot.
A delegation of the newly formed TMC group headed by Bengal Leader of Opposition Ritabrata Banerjee will meet the full bench of the poll body.
BJP leader Abhijit Das lodged a fresh complaint alleging large-scale irregularities and violations in the conduct of these medical camps.
"This surveillance system will help eliminate such practices that deprive defenceless and vulnerable animals of proper care,” Manoj Kumar Oraon said.
