A music CD composed by chief minister Mamata Banerjee was released on the 126 anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, yesterday.

The CD titled Charan Sparshe (with the blessings) contains eight songs composed by her. The music has been given by Pandit Ajay Chakraborty, who also sang a song. Two ministers of the West Bengal cabinet, Indranil Sen and Babul Supriyo have sung two songs.

The other singers are Raghab Chattopadhyay, Manomoy Bhattacharya, Jit Ganguly, Swagatalakshmi Dasgupta and Imon Chakraborty. The songs will be played before and after the Republic Day parade on Red Road on 26 January. The songs will be played at the Alipore Jail museum.
