TMC chief Mamata meets Sunita Kejriwal at CM’s residence in Delhi
The meeting was held at the official residence of the Delhi chief minister in the presence of party's Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha.
Five candidates, four from Trinamul Congress and one from BJP got elected in Rajya Sabha today.
Trinamul Congress Rajya Sabha MPs are Mamatabala Thakur, Md Nadimul Haque, Sushmita Dev and Sagarika Ghosh.
Mrs Thakur was Trinamul Lok Sabha MP from 2014 to 2019 when she lost to her brother-in-law Shantanu Thakur of BJP, now minister of state for shipping from Bongaon Parliamentary seat.

Ms Dev was earlier a Rajya Sabha member and daughter of former Congress leader late Santoshmohan Dev. Mrs Ghosh is a journalist-turned-politician.
Mr Shamik Bhattacharya of BJP has also been elected to the Rajya Sabha. In 2021, Mr Bhattacharya lost in the Assembly election.
All the candidates took their certificates from the returning officer in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly.
