Intel appoints Santhosh Viswanathan as India region head
Chip maker Intel on Friday said that it appointed Santhosh Viswanathan to head the India region business as its Managing Director (MD).
Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd has launched the 2018 version of its superbike Yamaha MT-09 in India, priced at Rs. 10.88 lakh (ex-showroom in Delhi).
The new Yamaha MT-09 superbike gets a newly developed 847cc, 3-Cylinder engine with 6-speed gearbox which makes 113.4bhp at 10,000 rpm and 87.5Nm torque at 8,500 rpm.
It is also equipped with anti-lock braking system (ABS) technology, the company said in a statement.

This 2018 Yamaha MT-09 model will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU) by Yamaha Motor India.
Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing Roy Kurian said, “The new MT-09 will reiterate Yamahas commitment to offer in India the very best mix of Yamahas superior expertise coupled with its unique flair for innovation.”
The new bike has been constructed with excellent rigidity balance that contributes towards the bikes agile handling performance and power delivery, he added.
The company is targeting youngsters who are stepping up from 600 cc sports model or those who are thinking for downsizing from a large-displacement model.
The 2018 Yamaha MT-09 gets new colour options – Bluish Gray Solid, Deep Purplish Blue and Matte Dark Gray. It will be available for sale only at select dealerships across India.
